Providing Everything Your Knife Needs

DSC09182.JPG

Sharpening

Sharpening your knife is necessary if you have chips, rolls, dings, or nicks on the edge of your blade, or if cutting performance is no longer there. Sharpening a knife requires removing metal from either side of the edge to create new edge geometry, and remove imperfections.

Honing

Honing a blade is the process of using a honing rod or steel to align the blade's edge. Even after sharpening, using a hone will always help give you that razor sharp finish. Honing your knife after each use will help prolong the time it takes to resharpen the edge.
